It's a hot, muggy day at my new home. Water Street, the address of my apartment, is certainly living up to it's name. My roommate is really, really great. Her name is Allison and she made me a sign today today wishing me a good first day of school. That was nice. Jesus certainly knew what he was doing.

Other than the humidity, App is looking like it will be a good time. I woke up at 7:30 this morning and ran errands until 11:00, when my first and only class of the day began. I could not praise the Lord enough when the teacher said we would have one paper, 4-6 pages this semester. ONE PAPER. This school world is a little different than the last. After that, I stood in line for a hour to rent books I would complain but free books are free books. Throughout the day I saw Peter Van Schoick, Tyler Adamson, and Matt Fleming with his Kat. It's been a good day.

I have gotten quite a bit of use out of my iPod. I listened to Red House Painters on the way to class, Wilco while waiting for books, and Shane & Shane while walking on King Street. Music just makes the day go so much better.

Tonight I plan to see LooLoo and Johnie. It will be a swingin' good time.
